Make this Summer Count

Monday – Thursday 9:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.

Friday 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

We offer individualized summer programs for grades K-12. Call now to schedule an assessment to determine your child’s current academic levels in reading, writing and/or math. Based on the assessment results and where you would like your student to be at academically by the next school year, we will create a personalized summer learning plan to achieve those goals.

Make Next Year Different!

If your child struggled in one or more subjects this school year, summer is the perfect time to build the necessary skills and confidence needed to enter the next grade with a stronger foundation. A typical student will raise an entire grade level in one subject with just four hours of tutoring per week during the summer break.

Keep skills fresh over the summer. It is not uncommon for core skills to be forgotten during summer or great momentum at the end of the school year to be lost during the long break. We all have great plans for our children to join the library book club, practice math facts daily or complete a few pages from a summer bridge book; however, in reality these great intentions are often lost during the busy summer weeks. Tutoring Club’s reading, writing and math programs will keep your student on a consistent academic schedule allowing them to enter the new school year without skipping a beat!

Summer is an ideal time to move ahead in one or more subjects. Help your child enter the next school year:

  • one full grade above in reading (our goal for all students)
  • with enhanced essay writing skills and practice with all genres
  • confident and ahead on key math skills

Students operating at a grade level above in the core areas of reading, writing and math are more confident, and are setting themselves up for entrance to honors classes in later years, as well as higher SAT/ACT scores.

Middle/High School Writing

Using students' summer required reading books or other novels, we teach and strengthen annotating skills; how to identify tone, speaker, and themes, and respond to numerous prompts. Students will also gain experience writing a variety of essays, using common core standards and evidence based writing.

High School Course Previews

Students work through next school year’s textbook and course curriculum at their own pace. This is a wonderful way to get a head start on the fall material! Course previews are at all levels, including Enhanced, AP, IB and Honors.

  • The time my daughter spent at your center this summer sure paid off. She increased a full grade level and has maintained an A in math so far this year. Thank you!

  • We are over the moon with our daughter's progress. She has always gotten high marks, but this was absolutely the best report card she's ever gotten. And a lot of that has to do with the summer we spent at the Tutoring Club. Her math abilities, and her confidence in such, are both outstanding. We are already looking forward to spending part of our summer back at your offices. Thanks so much for providing such a valuable service to my girls. And the best part of all? They never complained about having to go to tutoring. For a kid on a summer vacation, that is a small miracle.

  • I'm so glad I previewed Math 2 this summer. It was a great head start for a hard class!
